Finished: Two Blue Tank Tops

**ooops seems I wrote this over a month ago and forgot to publish**

Just waiting for a little boy to wear them...

I enjoyed knitting both of these so much. Tank tops great are- no sleeves means they are finished so much sooner.

Tank Top #1

Details
Pattern:
Tank Top from The Baby Knits Book by Debbie Bliss
Size: 3-6 mths
Yarn: Sirdar Snuggly Baby Bamboo in Shades #135 (blue) and #131 (natural)
Needles: US3 (3.25mm) and US4 (3.5mm)
Notes: Same pattern used to make Alice's tank top. Still love this pattern. I still like the baby bamboo too but it doesn't have the lovely springiness of other wool blends I've used.

Tank Top #2

Love those little cables.

Details

Pattern:
Baby Slipover from The Patons Learn to Knit Book by Sue Whiting
Size: newborn
Yarn: Rowan Cashcotton 4-ply shade #902 Pretty (blue).
Needles: US2 (2.75mm) and US3 (3.25mm)
Notes: Great little pattern. Takes less that 50g of yarn for the newborn size. Nice project for a new baby gift. I wish I had realised that cashcotton has angora in it as it set my asthma off quite badly. My own fault for not reading the label.

**The Striped top has already found a little boy to wear it. One of my Dad's colleges had a baby boy a few months ago. It's so nice to be able to pull out an already finished gift when someone asks you to knit for them. Oh the smugness.**
